Current Deadlines

PLEASE NOTE: If you submitted work between May 16th and November 15th (2006), your piece is currently under consideration for Swivel #6. If you haven't heard from us yet, your piece is still being considered. Please do not write and ask if it's still being considered! We will let you know as soon as we possibly can.

If you submitted work after November 16th, it was placed into the pool for Swivel #7. That's fine, but please understand that since we are currently running behind on Swivel #6, we will not start reading submissions for Swivel #7 before June. We'll let you know (via this page) when the Swivel #7 reading period officially opens.

We understand you're eager to hear from us, but please keep in mind that Swivel is a labor of love, cobbled together during free moments between our paying gigs. (If you know someone who wants to pay us to work full-time on Swivel, please point her and her checkbook our way!)

ALSO: Please revisit the Writer Specs before you submit. We are getting an awful lot of attached documents lately... and we simply do not open attachments, not even when we are really bored at work. So get those perfect pieces polished, paste them into an email, and send 'em our way. We look forward to reading you work.
